Irregular Warfare and Why We are in It

We have a limited view of warfare as being shooting and bombs. Military folks have for centuries viewed warfare as more than just a battle for space. They view it as a battle for minds.

Once the battle of minds start, at least one party likely sees a battle of guns in the future.

If we are in fact in the battle of minds, we need to understand what that means if we are to defuse the bomb. How do we know the battle of minds has begun? Because a decorated general has already declared war.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find the original clip. All I have is an EDM remix of it. In any event, he made a speech saying that he had an army of “digital soldiers”, conducting “irregular warfare” at it’s finest. I found a transcribed version on the thread below:

This speech marked the beginning of Mike Flynn’s personal cult, but Mike Flynn is not an isolated figure. He is highly connected to a network of mercenaries (First Amendment Praetorian, Erik Prince’s various mercenary ventures around the world), other former military, the New Apostolic Reformation, and the network of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, which descended from the white supremacist/ Christian Identity group Posse Comitatus, the Council for National Policy, a militant descendant of the John Birch Society which currently has tremendous influence on Congress, and the Family, which I have written about extensively. We may all have our preferred characters we study, but they view themselves as a fascis, the axe that fascism takes its name from.

Many chords bound together are stronger than individual ones. They try, to the extent possible, to work together to overthrow the current order. They have many individual goals, but they are one movement.

So what is this irregular warfare that Flynn is speaking of? Well irregular warfare is basically warfare where the lines between combat, propaganda and psyop, civilian and soldier are no longer clear. In a regular pitched battle, everyone involved are professional soldiers, the lines of combat are well drawn, and everyone is evenly matched. However, that is not the case in irregular warfare.

Once, a commentator was asked about whether he was scared of civil war. He flippantly replied, something to the effect of one drone could clear out a militia. This is probably correct, but it is not how irregular warfare works. In irregular warfare, insurgents are trained to harass regular troops in small confrontations where morale is the primary target. Suicide bombs work because they work psychologically, making counterinsurgency troops not be able to trust any civilians, and making them despise Muslims for allowing this to happen. Trust me. If Afghanistan insurgents could wear down US trained troops to the point they lay down their arms and join them, so can the NAR if they become an insurgent force. NAR could be tooled to create something as horrific as a suicide bomber.

But irregular warfare is more than about winning pitched battles. It is about winning over the people. You don’t even have to have violence to be engaged in that type of warfare through propaganda, and of course winning over religious groups, something the US government has developed a bit of a specialty in. I don’t know who is controlling Mike Flynn, Jerry Boykin and Kurt Fuller. I doubt it is the Biden Administration controlled CIA or military. Regardless, this is what they are engaged in right now, exactly the way they did it in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The bomb is real. We have to admit it is real and democracy, religious freedom and our children’s happiness are the stakes if we fail to defuse it. We need to learn the tactics they are using to brainwash people into these bizarre military strength versions of Christianity if we are to find our way back from the brink. We need to win the battle of the mind, or else we will face the battle of the gun.

My goal has always been to provide more than information. Information is valuable. But I want to provide people with an understanding of the tactics of various types of cognitive warfare we are all victims of so they can resist and fight back. This war is still very asymmetric because the big players like Flynn have all the weapons. I think we need to even out the odds.
